Stronger Leaders. Stronger Fire Service Teams.

Leadership in the fire service comes with unique responsibilities. Developing strong leaders and cohesive teams takes more than technical expertise—it takes self-awareness, an understanding of people, and an intentional approach to leadership.

I help fire service leaders recognize their strengths, better understand their people, and create environments where firefighters and teams can thrive.

Leadership Development for the Fire Service

Workshops and strengths-based leadership development can help your department invest in its leaders, strengthen teamwork, and build a culture where people can do their best work.

Potential areas of focus:

  • Strengths-based leadership and self-awareness

  • Understanding and developing your team

  • Trust, empowerment, and leadership culture

  • Communication & generational differences

Let's Start a Conversation

Every department has its own challenges and opportunities. I'd love to hear what your leaders and teams are navigating and explore how I might help.

A Personal Connection to the Fire Service

The fire service isn't just an industry I work with. It's part of my family's story.

My husband, Tom, served 36 years in the fire service, retiring as a Battalion Chief with the Troy Fire Department. All three of our sons have also served in the fire service in various capacities. I've had a front-row seat to the leadership, sacrifice, and commitment this profession demands—not just from the people who serve, but from the families who stand behind them.

Through my work as a Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths® Coach, I've seen how understanding our natural talents can change the way we lead, communicate, and develop others. I believe fire service leaders deserve opportunities to grow in self-awareness, recognize the strengths of their people, and build teams where individuals can do their best work.

My goal is to help develop stronger leaders and stronger teams—while honoring the people and the purpose behind the uniform.
